City villa on the park
This city villa, more than a hundred years old, situated on a park, was used as an office for a short time. With all its consequences. All characteristic elements were removed. Instead, suspended ceilings and unimaginative spaces dominated. Remy therefore had the task of turning the five-storey building into a pleasant home again.
first brought he structure to the building. The different floors, from the basement to the upper floor, each have their own function. Because of their generous character, the design of the floors was based on the human dimension. By inserting intermediate rooms, all spaces are in balance with each other, which increases the quality of life.
Thanks to the use of materials, various fireplaces and the restored classic details and ornamental ceilings, the city villa once again breathes the atmosphere of times long past. The comfort is of course fully tailored to the needs of our time. Governing means looking ahead: the layout is such that the top two floors can also function as independent houses.
