Modern barn house Oud-Alblas
Among the ribbon development on the Alblas, this house is designed as a modern interpretation of a farmhouse. Along the house a gravel path that connects to the entrance, utility room and barn. The house has a brick front house with a traditional facade.
Sanding side
The rear, the “barn side,” is dressed with wood. At the rear, the roof has a generous overhang that is cushioned with a wooden structure. On the side is a glazed area that extends from the facade into the roof. Because a loft was also created in this area, plenty of light enters the entire living space.
At the front is a generous sitting area, which connects to the centrally located dining area. At the rear the living kitchen, with direct connection to the backyard on the Alblas. Four bedrooms were created on the floor, with the master bedroom with balcony at the rear. There are also two usable attic rooms.
