Serenity and modern classic – The Hague
For the client, the kitchen was an important room in the house. Therefore, the kitchen was also the starting point for the rest of the interior. The light green color and clean flowing lines bring back the feel of the 1930s. The walnut material adds warmth to the serene sunroom. Special details are incorporated into the cabinetry, such as the sophisticated processing of the handles. The top that extends to the back wall has a raised edge where there is room to put something on it. This brings a playful effect and layering to the kitchen.
The master bathroom is a serene space where light is played with, enhanced by the material and color use. The contrasts continue in the bedroom, adjacent to the bathroom. Dark and rich materials are used here which creates an optimally relaxing atmosphere. The walk-in closet’s tall doors emphasize the stately feel of the architecture. The 1st floor has also been given an interesting structure by applying multiple passages to the various rooms. This way, one can sleep peacefully without being bothered by the other using the other functions.
