Loft De Pijp Amsterdam
A former rental home in the Pijp, Amsterdam has been converted into a spacious loft. The interior is equipped with a simple material scheme of oak wall panels, white plastered walls, black (built-in) furniture and gray cast floors.
An organizing wall unit runs the full length of the house from the living room to the kitchen. Various functions are integrated, including cupboards, a TV cabinet and a specially designed kitchen that can be closed completely out of sight with a large oak sliding wall. A contrasting black kitchen island has been placed centrally in the space for this.
The attic roof has been gutted and a new layout has created two bedrooms and a bathroom. In addition to the oak floor, the hood construction is completely finished in white, as is the bathroom with built-in bath and custom-designed washbasin in LG HiMacs.
