In the eastern part of the Netherlands you will find this modern lifetime villa. The villa stands at the entrance of a cozy residential area and attracts a lot of interest because of its Ibiza-style. The combination of the robust natural stone, sterile stucco and warm wood create a unique dimension.

Dreams come true
The clients had been dreaming for years of making their dream come true: building their own modern life-size villa. This really became a reality when we designed the floor plan of their dreams. A floor plan with optimal garden and street views. How did we pull this off? The clients had purchased a spacious lot. This gave us the opportunity to design their dream villa in width.

A second dream of the family was to apply a lot of glass. Suggestion on transparency was chosen by placing vertical wooden cladding on black facade sections. In this way, it looks like vertical blinds have been placed to protect against the sun.

Fitting into its environment
The residential area where this villa was built consists largely of villas composed of two-story, hooded buildings. The basic volume of this modern villa consists of two floors with two retractable lower sections and a flat roof. You could think of it as a matchbox that has been extended. To ensure that the villa does not fall away among the villas in the rest of the neighborhood, this house was built on an elevation. This makes the villa appear optically larger. A villa that fits perfectly into its surroundings. A villa in which these clients feel completely at home. A home they can continue to enjoy for life!
