The assignment of this project was to design a house for a family with 4 bedrooms. With only 14 months between the first sketches and the day the owners moved into the house, this house was designed and built in record time. One of the wishes of the customer was to build an open space with a view of the garden, while guaranteeing complete privacy with the adjacent building plot. By using a prefab construction of 10 meters wide, the ground floor is completely open and free of columns, maximizing the incoming daylight. The spiral staircase, signature design element of Co.Studio, defines the transition between the floors. All bedrooms are equipped with an ensuite sanitary cell made of cast floors and walls.
